Union leaders have confirmed that subsequent week’s rail and tube strikes will go forward after talks did not resolve a bitter row over pay, jobs and situations.

The three 24-hour strikes, by 40,000 RMT members, will trigger virtually every week of disruption.

The Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) mentioned it had held discussions previously few weeks at senior ranges with Community Rail, practice operators and London Underground.

The RMT basic secretary, Mick Lynch, mentioned: “Regardless of the very best efforts of our negotiators no viable settlements to the disputes have been created.”

He confirmed that strikes at Community Rail and 13 practice operators would go forward on Tuesday, Thursday and subsequent Saturday, and on London Underground on Tuesday.
